I am Jack's Noxious Fart
I am prepared to be mocked. It has taken me this long to see Fight Club. Why? I don't know why. I think I was afraid of it. I had preconceived notions about what it was about and I was wrong. So very wrong. I am Jack's Sense of Humility. I wouldn't necessarily call it 'earth shattering' but there are so many critical points in this movie that it is like a big 'WTF - lets start the revolution today'. You are owned by what you own. To be truly free you must be free of possessions. There is clearly a cult mentality to those statements, but these is also a truth - a clear cut wonderful truth. I won't go into my new economic theory which I am tenatively calling 'Progressive Capitalism' which throws out the concept of profit as defined in terms of money and brings in profit as defined in terms of community growth. I think it is time I became a human sacrifice.
