The light, the light!
Summer is coming and the fricken Daylight Savings Time (aka rich white men want to go golfing) means I go through my yearly turmoil over whether or not to get sunglasses. Truth be told, I hate sunglasses, but my eyesight is getting worse and worse and the sun is one of the primary causes. I know I need to get glasses, which makes getting sunglasses seem sort of trite. Additionally, I'm slowly going through a style shift. I fundamentally want to look cooler than I actually am. I figured the cheapy sunglasses purchased at Osco or Walgreens aren't going to help with that 'cool' image I'm trying to go for (sort of the casual European chic). Shopping for sunglasses is kind of fun, online. EJ Sunglasses has a ton of different wild and conservative styles. I personally like the Anarchy Supreme the Gargoyle Matrix and the Quiksilver Mini Lagoon. None of these are cheap. Of course, I think that is part of the point. Style isn't cheap. If you want style you have to pay for it. I paid the most I ever have for a shirt a few weeks back. I think it is the coolest shirt ever and haven't had an opportunity to wear it yet. Soon, very soon, I shall be one of the good looking (at least one of the well dressed).
